Community Guidelines & Safety

Welcome to Flare Up & Chill A space created with love, understanding, and sisterhood in mind. To keep this forum safe, supportive, and empowering for everyone, we ask that all members follow these guidelines:

1. Be Kind, Always

We’re all navigating complex health journeys. Speak to others with compassion, empathy, and respect. No bullying, shaming, or judgment of any kind will be tolerated.

2. Your Story Is Yours

You are encouraged to share your experiences, but please remember that everyone’s journey with endometriosis and adenomyosis is different. Avoid comparing, dismissing, or invalidating someone else’s pain or treatment choices.

3. Zero Tolerance for Hate or Discrimination

Discrimination based on race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or body type is strictly prohibited. This is a safe space for all.

4. Mental Health Matters

We encourage open discussions around mental health, but this forum is not a substitute for professional help. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please reach out to a licensed therapist or crisis line

5. No Medical Advice Masked as Facts

Sharing what worked for you is welcomed . but giving unsolicited or unsafe medical advice is not. Avoid statements like “This is the only cure” or “You must do this.” Everyone’s body is different.

6. Respect Privacy

Do not share someone else’s story or screenshots from the forum without their clear permission. What’s shared here, stays here.

7. Report Harmful Behaviour

If you see something harmful, triggering, or inappropriate, please report it. Our moderators are here to protect this space and support you.

8. No Spam or Self-Promotion

This is a support forum, not a sales page. Do not promote products, services, or external content unless pre-approved by Rashida or the admin team.

9. Moderation & Safety

  • Posts are monitored daily by a team of moderators with lived experience.
  •  Trigger warnings are encouraged when discussing heavy topics (e.g. surgery, suicidal thoughts, medical trauma).
  • An anonymous posting option is available if you’d prefer to share privately.
  •  Repeat rule violations will result in a warning or removal from the forum, depending on severity

10. A Safe Space for Every body

This is a safe space for everyone affected by gynaecological conditions. We ask that all members respect gender identities and experiences that may be different from their own.
