I’ve been on tramadol for about 5/6 years now. At first it was pretty effective, but overtime it’s gone down. I feel like the only positive I’m getting from it now is that it makes me drowsy, so sometimes I sleep through the pain.
However, i ended up in A&E a few weeks ago, and was advised to take it alongside with paracetamol (which actually helped at the time as they put me on an IV).
Not sure how it’s gonna go as I just had a lap 2 months ago so my pain levels might not be the same but I’ll keep you updated!
